Dock It Marine Construction is a family-run crew out of Deltaville. Richard and his crew build the work, and his daughter Amanda handles the permits. You deal with the people doing the job.
Who we are
A waterfront crew that takes its time.
Dock It Marine Construction is based in Deltaville, at the tip of Virginia’s Middle Peninsula, and works the water from Virginia Beach to the Potomac River. We build the things every waterfront property eventually needs: a pier out to deeper water, a boathouse or lift for the boat, and a seawall, stone or living shoreline to keep the yard from washing away.
The work is done from our own barge. The excavator rides on deck, and pilings, lumber and stone come in by water. That keeps heavy equipment off your lawn and lets us reach lots with no good land access at all.
We don’t rush. As one customer put it, Richard and his crew “take their time in constructing the dock of your dreams.” And we leave the site tidy at the end of every day.

Work in and on Virginia’s waters comes with real paperwork. Amanda handles the permitting for our projects and keeps you up to date at every step, so you don’t have to learn the process yourself.
